General Information

Mineral-insulated thermocouples are compact and durable temperature sensors designed for measurements under high temperatures, pressure, vibration and mechanical loads.

Thermoelectric wires are embedded in compacted mineral insulation and enclosed in a protective metal sheath. This construction provides fast response, mechanical strength and reliable operation in demanding industrial and test applications.

HPM thermocouples are available with sheath diameters from 0.5 to 3 mm and can be customized by thermocouple type, length, sheath material, measuring junction and connector configuration.

Key features:

  • Sheath diameters from 0.5 mm;
  • Fast response to temperature changes;
  • Grounded, ungrounded or exposed junction;
  • High resistance to vibration and mechanical loads;
  • Custom lengths, sheath materials and connectors;
  • Conventional or custom configurations.
