Significant improvements in strain gauge temporary carrier
We’re happy to share a small, yet meaningful improvement we’ve recently made to our strain gages.
After months of testing and feedback from our users, we’ve transitioned to a two-layer temporary carrier. It holds the gage grid more securely, makes it easier to remove from the packaging, and stays flexible enough for smooth application on most parts.
We’re also working on a new frame-type temporary carrier (photo attached) — it keeps the grid perfectly aligned during transfer, giving even better stability. And if you need to mount a gage in a tight spot, the upper part of the frame can be easily trimmed with a scalpel before installation, turning it into the classic horseshoe shape.
